Harbour Plaza Golf Club

The last two months of the year offer the ideal weather conditions for golfing at the Harbour Plaza Golf Club. This great weather naturally leads to an increase in tee offs on our course. We would therefore like to take this opportunity to remind golfers to adhere to the correct golf etiquette so that everyone can enjoy their game. In addition, the increased number of golfers does put pressure on the upkeep of the course, and we are lucky to have an expert team of Grounds Maintenance staff here at the Club, who work tirelessly to ensure the course is always in pristine condition.

Golf is, by nature, a complex game and any number of unexpected situations may arise during play. In this newsletter, we try to feature a variety of golfing situations that may be relevant to play at the Harbour Plaza course, as well as the applicable rulings. This particular issue features a real-life Member query with regard to a flooded bunker.

The Club Championship is the highlight of the Harbour Plaza's annual calendar of events and this year's tournament was completed on 26th October. The participation was most encouraging and all those taking part derived great joy and fun from the game. A full report will appear in the next issue of this newsletter. Stay tuned !
